Four Chosen to Commissioner's Honor Roll
RICHARDSON, TEXAS --- Northeastern State's Celeste St. Gemme, Ellie Slack, Melissa Michelson and Kristina Marshall were named to the Lone Star Conference All-Academic team Commissioner's Honor Roll.
The All-Academic team is chosen by the league's sports information directors, who select players on the basis of both athletic and academic achievement. To be eligible for the LSC academic recognition, student-athletes need at least a 3.30 grade point average and must be at least a sophomore. All-academically qualified student athletes not selected for the All-Academic team are then named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll.
St. Gemme, a sophomore from Owasso, is majoring in Biology, Slack is a sophomore from Tulsa (Union High School), majoring in Spanish, Michelson is a sophomore psychology major from Plano, Texas, and Marshall, also a sophomore, from Highland Village, Texas, has yet to declare a major.
