First Round of Red River Invitational Cancelled
ADA, Okla. – Northeastern State’s opening round of the Red River Invitational in Ada, hosted by East Central University has been cancelled due to unplayable conditions at Oak Hills Country Club.
The tournament will resume Tuesday with 18 holes with 12 teams competing in the field.
The field includes eight NCAA Division II institutions, two NAIA schools and two junior colleges as 66 players are expected to participate.
Joining Northeastern State in the field is East Central, Texas A&M-Commerce, Southwestern State, Midwestern State, Arkansas-Fort Smith, Henderson State, Lincoln (Mo.), Oklahoma Baptist, Rogers State, Redlands Community College and Seminole State College.
