Kok Chosen Preseason All-America

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. ---- Northeastern State punter, Joe Kok, was recently named an Honorable Mention choice on the Consensus Draft Services Division II Pre-Season All-America Team for 2009.
Kok, a senior-to-be from Broken Arrow, has averaged 39.5 yards per punt during his tenure with the RiverHawks. He has earned All-Lone Star Conference North Division in each of his three seasons and was named to the All-Academic Team in 2008.
In 2008, Kok ranked 5th in the LSC and 9th in the nation, averaging 41.6 yards per kick. He will look to help the RiverHawks and second year head coach Kenny Evans take the next step to capturing another LSC North title in 2009.
In all, 12 players from the LSC were named to the list by Consensus Draft Services.
