Lannen started seven games on the offensive line for the RiverHawks in 2008 in his first full season after a redshirt year in 2007. 

Lannen was a two-time state qualifier in wrestling for the Bulldogs and helped lead WHS football team to the state finals as a prep senior. 

He is an education major with an minor in history.
