McVay shined for the RiverHawks in his first season.  He was third on the team in receiving with 26 catches for 253 yards and was a threat on special teams, returning 31 punts for an average of 10 yards per return.

He was a redshirt in 2007 for the RiverHawks and will see ample playing time this season.
