Owens appeared in five games for the RiverHawks in 2008 and made three tackles. 

A tough, hard-nosed player that excelled on both sides of the ball for Coach Jeff Streun at Roland High School, Spencer logged 151 tackles and was an All-District selection and the 3A-4 MVP.
