Fulps was a three-year starter for the Tigers and head coach Ron Lancaster.   Prior to his senior campaign, he won both state and national Top Gun Quarterback competitions held over the summer and was named as a player to watch by the Tulsa World. Fulps finished his career as the No. 2 quarterback in school history in passing yards, completions and touchdowns.  He was named to the OCA All-State team.
